Sonic branding for record labels
Sonic branding for record labels gives the label itself a sound, apart from the music of its artists. It plays with your animated logo, in label videos and playlists, and at your events.

When a label might want a sound of its own
Your logo moves on screen
An animated logo without sound feels unfinished at the start of a video. Universal Music Publishing Group launched its new identity in 2026 with a sound next to the animated logo. For Cinema in Concert, which plays film scores live with an orchestra, we wrote the sonic identity while the agency Lava made the motion design.
Your artists play every genre
The label sound comes before pop on one day and techno on the next. We keep it to a few notes that don't pick a genre, with a full version for big releases and a softer one for acoustic records.
The label makes its own content
Behind-the-scenes clips, label playlists, and announcements need music that doesn't belong to one artist. We write a set of tracks around the label sound that any of your teams can use.
Documentaries and showcase nights
A label documentary or a showcase night needs its own music, and a label podcast can start with the label sound (podcast branding). For something else, tell us what's coming.

How it works
Step 1
Tell us about the label
What it stands for, the artists it signs, and where the logo appears. Someone from our team replies with a proposal.
Step 2
Sketches with your animation
We send a few short directions, each one laid under your logo animation.
Step 3
Short and long versions
The sonic logo arrives in its final form, with the longer music for videos and events.
