The brief
A modern remix of Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 3, played by Lang Lang, to demonstrate a new Harman Kardon speaker system.
What we did
Lang Lang’s piano stays at the center, with electronic beats around it. We mixed it so the fine details of the piano and the energy of the beats both come through on the speakers.
Listen for
Chopin wrote it in 6/8, a rhythm that sways in groups of three. The remix runs on four steady beats, like most electronic music, and the piano still sounds natural.
