The brief
For the Dutch launch of its flying car, Xpeng gave visitors a VR headset and a virtual flight over Shanghai, so they could feel what it would be like to sit in one. Boldly-XR built the experience. The music had to be big and euphoric, and give people a sense of freedom, as if they were really flying over the city.
What we did
In VR, visitors are inside the scene and there is no video to time the music to, so the music has to carry the feeling of height and movement on its own. We wrote a modern electronic track that builds the way film music does.
