The brief
DEPT’s own clothing line draws on British streetwear. The brief asked for the raw energy of jungle and grime, two British underground club styles with choppy drums and heavy bass, and for strange, unexpected sound design.
What we did
We built the track on cut-up drum loops and heavy bass and tuned the effects to the music, so a busy style stays clear in a short brand film.
Listen for
The style came straight from the clothes. The British influences in the collection pointed us to jungle and grime.
