The brief
A dark fashion film that mixes horror with club music. The brief pointed to the industrial electronic sound of the artist Gesaffelstein and asked for a slow build to heavy drum and bass, a fast club style with deep bass lines.
What we did
We designed many of the sounds ourselves on a synthesizer called Serum. The track starts with threatening textures and keeps growing until the drum and bass climax.
Listen for
Many sounds that feel like film effects are synthesizers from the music itself, so the effects and the score are one piece.
